3.3 Restrictions

Each person is limited to one account. Sharing or transferring accounts is prohibited.

4.1 Service Content

Seedance AI Community provides innovative AI-powered content generation services, which currently include but are not limited to:

• Image to Video: Transforming static images into dynamic video content.
• Text to Video: Generating video sequences based on text descriptions.
• Video to Video: Modifying, enhancing, or restyling existing video content.
• AI Effects & Tools: Applying AI-driven artistic effects and other creative features.
• Creative Community Features: Other related AI features and community-driven tools.

4.2 Service Changes

We are constantly innovating to provide the best possible experience. Therefore, we reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part or feature thereof) at any time, with or without prior notice.
• We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

5.1 Permitted Use

Seedance AI Community grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the Service for lawful purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

To ensure the security and integrity of our community, you agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code, underlying ideas, or algorithms of any part of the Service.

6.1 Platform Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Website, the Service, and all content provided by Seedance AI Community (including but not limited to software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks) are owned by Seedance AI Community or its licensors. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, you are not granted any rights or licenses in these materials.

6.2 User Input Content

Users and/or original rights holders retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the content they input (including text prompts, images, or videos). Use of the Service does not alter or transfer such rights. You represent and warrant that you possess the necessary rights and permissions for all materials you upload or input.

6.3 Generated Content Attribution

As between Seedance AI Community and the user, all rights, ownership, and interest in content generated through the Service ("Output") belong to the user.

Legal Disclaimer: Ownership of AI-generated content is currently an evolving area of law worldwide. Except for the limited license granted below, Seedance AI Community does not claim any independent intellectual property ownership in your Output.

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content generated using the Service and for ensuring it does not infringe upon third-party rights.

6.4 Limited License Granted to Platform

By submitting user content to the Service, you grant Seedance AI Community a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such user content solely for the following legitimate purposes:

• Operation: Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service's performance and security.
• Optimization: Training and optimizing our AI models and service algorithms to enhance output quality.
• Marketing: Branding and legitimate marketing activities. Note: If we intend to publicly display your specific content for marketing purposes, we will obtain your separate consent first.

6.5 User Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to Seedance AI Community regarding the Service ("Feedback") will become the proprietary property of Seedance AI Community. You hereby irrevocably assign all rights, title, and interest in the Feedback to us and agree that we may freely use and exploit such Feedback without any compensation or obligation to you.

7.1 No Warranty on Output

Seedance AI Community provides the Service using evolving AI technology. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or suitability of any Output. You acknowledge that Output may contain technical errors, inherent biases, or inaccuracies and does not represent the views or positions of Seedance AI Community.

7.2 Third-Party Rights & Copyright Risks

We do not warrant that Output is free of third-party intellectual property infringements. Due to the probabilistic nature of AI, Output may unintentionally resemble existing copyrighted works. You are exclusively responsible for conducting independent legal clearance and verifying potential copyright risks before using Output, particularly for commercial purposes.

7.3 User Responsibility

You assume all risks associated with your use of Output. Seedance AI Community shall not be liable for any third-party claims, legal disputes, or damages arising from your use of generated content. We strongly recommend independent human review and verification before using Output for any critical or commercial application.

8.1 Payment Finality

All payments for subscriptions, credit purchases, or other paid features are final. Once you obtain access to the paid service or credits, the Service is deemed to have started delivery and the related fees are not refundable, unless otherwise required by law.

8.2 Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Seedance AI Community offers monthly and annual subscription plans:

• Auto-Renewal: Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle, your subscription will automatically renew.
• How to Cancel: You may cancel at any time on your account management page.
• Service After Cancellation: You may continue to use the Service until the end of the current term; fees paid are non-refundable.

8.3 Responsibility for Plan Selection

Please carefully review your selected plan at checkout. Important: Annual plans include significant discounts. By selecting an annual plan, you confirm a one-year commitment. Annual subscriptions do not support mid-term refunds or conversion to monthly plans. Fees incurred due to selecting the wrong billing cycle are not refundable.

9.1 General Principles

At Seedance AI Community, we strive to provide the best possible experience. However, due to the nature of digital services, once the Service has begun, we cannot "take back" the delivered content. Therefore, unless otherwise required by law, all payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Unused subscription periods or credits will not be refunded.

9.2 AI Output Quality

Due to the probabilistic nature of AI, results may not always match your expectations. Subjective dissatisfaction (such as style preferences or aesthetics) does not constitute a service defect. We recommend exploring free features before subscribing.

9.3 Statutory Rights by Region

9.3.1 EU/UK Users: Once you generate any content, you expressly agree to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge the waiver of your 14-day withdrawal right.

9.3.2 Brazil Users: You have a 7-day "cooling-off" period. If the Service was used before the refund request, we reserve the right to deduct a fee equivalent to the value used.

9.4 Refund Limitations

To maintain fairness, we generally cannot approve refunds if:

• The Service or credits have already been used to generate content.
• The account is restricted for policy violations.
• A refund for a similar reason was previously granted.
• The request is outside the applicable timeframe.

9.5 Special Refund Scenarios

We may consider refunds or compensation in the following objective circumstances:

• Platform technical failures causing complete Service unavailability for more than 72 consecutive hours.
• Obvious system billing errors (such as duplicate charges).
• Other circumstances expressly required by applicable law.

9.6 How to Request a Refund

9.7 Disputes and Chargebacks

Please talk to us first! If a chargeback is initiated without contacting support:

• Your account will be suspended immediately.
• We will provide usage records to the payment institution as evidence.
• You may be responsible for related administrative fees.

9.8 Abuse and Fraudulent Refund Requests

Seedance AI Community is committed to a fair service environment. We will treat the following as abuse or fraudulent refund requests:

• Requesting a refund after extensive use of the Service (e.g., consuming most credits or generating large amounts of content).
• Repeatedly registering new accounts to abuse trials, first-purchase discounts, or refund policies.
• Providing false or misleading information to obtain a refund.
• Attempting to continue accessing or using the Service after receiving a refund.

Our response to such behavior:

• Refusal: We will refuse the refund request and provide detailed usage records as the basis.
• Termination: Your account will be permanently terminated without reinstatement.
• Dispute: We will dispute malicious chargebacks and submit complete evidence to the payment institution.
• Recovery: We reserve the right to recover losses, including administrative costs incurred in handling abusive behavior.
• Legal action: For serious cases involving fraud, organized abuse, or significant losses, Seedance AI Community reserves the right to pursue liability through legal means, including but not limited to civil litigation and reporting to law enforcement authorities. We believe most users act in good faith, and these terms are intended to protect the legitimate rights of the platform and our long-term sustainable operation.

10.1 Prohibited Conduct

To maintain a safe and secure environment for all creators, Seedance AI Community strictly prohibits the following conduct, which is considered fraud or abuse:

• Using stolen, unauthorized, or otherwise fraudulent payment methods.
• Exploiting system vulnerabilities, bugs, or technical "glitches" to obtain unpaid services, credits, or premium features.
• Engaging in malicious refund requests or bad-faith chargebacks.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or abuse free trials and promotional offers.
• Reselling account access, credits, or unauthorized distribution of the Service.

10.2 Enforcement Measures

If we detect or reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, Seedance AI Community reserves the right to take immediate action, including but not limited to:

• Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without notice.
• Revocation of any services, content, or credits obtained through fraudulent means.
• Recovery of any financial losses, including administrative costs incurred.
• Reporting the activity to relevant law enforcement authorities and financial institutions.

10.3 Chargeback Disputes

We value our community and aim to resolve any issues fairly. If you have questions about a charge, you agree to contact us first at [email protected] to attempt a good-faith resolution.

• Initiating a chargeback without a prior attempt to resolve the issue with our support team may result in immediate account termination.
• We reserve the right to take legal action and submit comprehensive usage evidence to payment processors to contest malicious or fraudulent chargebacks.

11.1 Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Seedance AI Community does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

11.2 Third-Party Service Providers

The Service utilizes third-party providers (e.g., payment processors, cloud infrastructure, AI models). By using the Service, you agree to comply with the applicable terms of these third parties.

12.1 Service "As-Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Seedance AI Community does not warrant that: (i) the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (ii) the Service will meet your specific requirements; or (iii) any errors will be corrected.

12.2 Warranty Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seedance AI Community expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13.1 Indirect Damages Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seedance AI Community shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

13.2 Maximum Compensation Cap

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Seedance AI Community in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

15.1 User Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the Website. Your right to use the Service will end immediately upon termination.

15.2 Platform Termination

Seedance AI Community may terminate or suspend your access for any reason, including violations of these Terms, with or without prior notice.

15.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all licenses end immediately. Fees paid are non-refundable (except as required by law). Terms related to IP, liability, and indemnification shall survive termination.
